When I post something happy/funny on facebook, or share pictures of the kids, or write about something they say..I generally get 10-15 "likes" and at least a few comments.
When I post something foster care or adoption related, especially something that is meant to motivate others to action, I get maybe 1 or 2 likes..no comments.
I am convicted each and every time I read a post like this:
Right to life..and then what?
Or see a video like this:
They Chose Me
Aren't you? How long can we keep pretending they don't exist..or someone else will take care of them..

First Respite Call
Got a voicemail at 1:11.."family which desperately needs monthly respite".."call back and I'll give you more info on the case." Left a vociemail back at 1:16..It's now 1:46, and haven't heard anything back yet. Oh, I didn't miss this waiting game..
